New Features 11/03/2007 Suspend/Activate Listings: With this new function, there is no need to delete your listing anymore (although the capability still exists to do so). If you fill your vacancy, simply “Suspend” your listing. Your suspended listing will be viewable on your members home page, however, it will not displayed to tenants searching our database. This will alleviate the need to reenter your listing should it become vacant in the future. Once your listing becomes available, simply click the “Activate” button and your listing (including all your submitted photos) will be back up and resubmitted to our affiliates and partner websites. After activating your listing, be sure to modify any and all information as necessary (such as dates available). Personal Sub-Domains (Optional): A sub-domain is an easy way for users to find you by giving them access to all your listings and company information by giving them an easy to remember web address. So, if you register for your company's name (i.e. xyz), then all your active listings as well as contact information will be available at www.Need2Lease.com/xyz. If you don't already have one, sign up now, it is available in the "Your Information" section on your members home page. Don't forget, it's 100% free! What's more, if you create a sub-domain and carry more than one property, each of your listings will have a link "See all my listings" which will bring all prospective tenants to your entire list of listings as well as your company profile and contact information (excluding your email address). Expanded Information (Optional): If you wish to give your interested tenants more information about your company, there is an easy solution. In your member’s home page, you will see an “Expanded Information” section under your personal information. You can add any company information you wish, then, in return, it will be available on your sub-domain section (should you register for one). On-line Tenant Application: Need2Lease has created a way for interested Tenants to fill out and submit an online rental application. On all listings, you will now notice the link to “Apply Online Now”. An interested Tenant can fill out a single form which will, in return be submitted and viewable only to you. Please note since we are a completely free website, we will not accept interested tenants Social Security number. Also, we do not require the tenant to fill out the entire application, only fields they are comfortable submitting online. We have also given the tenants the feature of saving their application so that they can submit it to future landlords of properties they are interested in. If you receive an online application, you will be able to access it by clicking on the “View” button located next to the property on your members home page. Since there is a chance that several tenants may submit an application, you will presented with a list of all. Individual applications can be deleted, or saved for future reference should your listing become available again. Customized Expansion Bars: With this new tool, there is no need to clutter up your member’s home page with all your listings if you wish. On each of the listing sections (Residential, Commercial and Lease To Own), there is a Hide/Show All link now available. Selecting either option does not remove your listings, it just simply expands or minimizes the display on your home page only. Since this option is database driven, it will remember your current settings for the next time you log in. Deleting A Listing: If you wish to delete your listing, simply “Suspend” it first. Once your listing is in a suspended state, you will be able to delete it by selecting the delete button next to the property in your members home page.
