Need2Lease.com has established this privacy policy to explain to you how your information is protected, collected and used, which may be updated by Need2Lease.com from time to time. Need2Lease.com, or people who post on Need2Lease.com, may provide links to third party websites, which may have different privacy practices. We are not responsible for, nor have any control over, the privacy policies of those third party websites, and encourage all users to read the privacy policies of each and every website visited.
2. Data we collect
For any type of posting, the user must be a registered/authenticated user of the Need2Lease’s website. When creating an account, it is necessary to provide the following information:
First and Last Name
Email Address
Telephone Number
Company Name
Company Website
Password
When inserting your Company Website, you explicitly allow Need2Lease.com to provide this information (along with a hyper link) to your said website on all listings that you provide. Please note that this field is not required to become a registered user.
When providing your first and last name, you explicitly allow Need2Lease.com to provide this information on each posting that you make.
When providing your email address, you are explicitly allowing Need2Lease.com to store this information in our database for contact purposes from either Need2Lease.com or potential clients who found you on our website. Although a potential client can email you, AT NO TIME will Need2Lease divulge it on any posting. Rather, Need2Lease masks your email to ensure that your email address is not viewable by the user.
If an email transaction takes placed in which a potential client utilizes our services to contact your through email, you will not receive an email from the tenant, rather it will be delivered by our server. If you proceed to contact the potential tenant using your email, they will have knowledge of your email and therefore we Privacy Policy is then terminated in which you and the tenant are now exchanging information without our knowledge.
For Searching Tenants – if you utilize our services and contact a possible posting through the means of our email client, you realize that you are submitting your email address to a possible landlord. Furthermore, AT NO TIME does Need2Lease store your email in any electronic means when using our email forwarding service
Our web logs collect standard web log entries for each page served, including your IP address, page URL, and timestamp. Web logs help us to diagnose problems with our server, to administer the Need2Lease.com site, and to otherwise provide our service to you.
3. Data we store
All classified and forum postings are stored in our database, even after "deletion," and may be archived elsewhere.
Our web logs and other records are stored indefinitely.
Registered job posters can access and update their account information through the account homepage.
Although we make good faith efforts to store the information in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, we cannot guarantee complete security.
4. Archiving and display of Need2Lease.com postings by search engines and other sites
Search engines and other sites not affiliated with Need2Lease.com - including archive.org, google.com, and groups.yahoo.com - archive or otherwise make available Need2Lease.com postings, including resumes
5. Circumstances in which Need2Lease.com may release information
Need2Lease.com may disclose information about its users if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process.
Need2Lease.com may also disclose information about its users to law enforcement officers or others, in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to: enforce our Terms of Use; respond to claims that any posting or other content violates the rights of third-parties; or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Need2Lease.com, its users or the general public.
6. International Users
By visiting our web site and providing us with data, you acknowledge and agree that due to the international dimension of Need2Lease.com we may use the data collected in the course of our relationship for the purposes identified in this policy or in our other communications with you, including the transmission of information outside your resident jurisdiction.
